Machi Big Brother gets liquidated 145 times since Oct. 11 crypto crash
The ongoing crypto crash could prove to be one of the worst market crashes ever.
As per the onchain analytics platform CoinGlass, $893 million has been wiped out from the market within the last 24 hours.
The total crypto market cap has slipped below $3 trillion for the first time since May.
Bitcoin (BTC) has dropped 2.5% in a day to trade at $86,423.97, Ethereum (ETH) fell 1.8% to $2,822.44, and XRP 2% to $1.99.
We can trace the crash to mid-October when President Donald Trump said the U.S. will impose a 100% tariff on imports from China. The fear of the revival of the global tariff war spooked the crypto market and over $19 billion got wiped out in a day.
Since then, the market has failed to recover despite momentary reversals. Whether it's the controversial online personality Andrew Tate or a regular bloke, nobody has been able to escape the heat.
In fact, there is a popular crypto trader whom the crypto crash has claimed among its worst casualties.
