【Now Sports】算一算，今屆決賽周原來只剩10場比賽，睇一場少一場，難得是日重頭戲阿根廷對埃及，是最後一個香港時間凌晨零時開波的場次。壓軸10場倒數，就由這「早場」開始。阿根廷今屆與非洲隊甚為「投緣」，分組先賽對阿爾及利亞、32強鬥佛得角，來到16強又與埃及狹路相逢。阿根廷眾星去仗對佛得角陷入苦戰，既已領教過非洲雄師的厲害，豈敢妄自尊大？以沙拿掛帥的埃及今屆已入6球，當中有一半在頭20分鐘內取得，衛冕隊最好即時入局，否則難免再吃苦頭。

最後一個8強席位，由瑞士與哥倫比亞爭奪，剛好代表兩種不同風格的角力──瑞士屬於沉實型，哥倫比亞具侵略性、技藝性豐富。若然是日獲勝的是阿根廷與哥倫比亞，這個8強戲碼，就是兩年前美洲國家盃決賽翻版。
